| Oh, xanga.... It's been awhile... a great while, in fact. I would tell you all I've been up to for the past 9 months, but I feel that it would take too long. As an alternative, I'll give you the shortened (slightly less true) story: I've been in a coma. --And just like that; the past nine months of my life summed up in a single sentence. Last week was unexpectedly delightful as it was reduced to a mere three days of classes by the huge snowfall. The snow was welcomed with much enthusiasm by students who had their class loads lightened and were given something to play in. I sense the excitement waning, however, as the snow turns to ice and slush. --Fickality in its purest form. Oh, well. It's like I always say, "Snow has no feelings." ...yup. Well, I think that's all I've got..... ...now, I'm certain. | | |
| Contrary to what my lack of updates suggests, I'm not dead. Nor have I, to my knowledge, been dead at any point during the last month or so leaving me with no excuse for not ever updating. But now that I am updating, I'll tell you that I went to Arlington, TX for spring break. It was a lot of fun. To illustrate exactly how much fun it was, here is a picture (taken on the way to Texas) of two of my friends:

Those are the faces that people make when they're having fun. But anyway, as you can see, it was a blast.
Aside from my Texas trip, I've just been hangin' out and going to class. Well that's all I've got, so remember: Take a tip from Britt and DJ; buckle up!

Here's one of the time that Brian fed a giant chipmunk.
| Today, was our second day of classes. If you do the math, you'll find that our first day of classes was yesterday. This is, of course assuming that our first and second day of classes were consecutive. If my weblog seems dry, boring and verbose, it might be because I've just finished reading 25 pages out of my Western Civilization text book. I would definitely recommend that book to anyone....... that I hate with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. But really, it's not that bad.
Aside from classes and homework, I've really been having a great time here. I was elated to find a full box of 5th Avenue bars in our GC today. I ate all the bars that they had in stock last semester and I was worried that they wouldn't get anymore. But they did; so that was nice of them.
| So it turns out that I haven't posted in a while. It might be because I've been really busy; or it might be because that everytime I start to write one, I realize how boring my life is and run to my room crying. No matter. I'm doing it now, aren't I? Anyway, here it is: A story so long, so boring, that it's sure to make my own mother take back my birth after reading just the first few lines.
Once upon a time (junior high), my friend Brian Spade and I would get together quite frequently and play a certain computer game that some people know as Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Never heard of it? No worries, not many have.
Well, years rolled by and our fervor for playing this game faded (or Brian quit inviting me over to play it with him) and before long the game was just a distant memory in our mimes-- yes, our mimes.
That is, until just the other day! You see, I took it upon myself to order the game from ebay. Six days after the ordering, I received Heroes of Might and Magic 4. And if you were paying attention before (or if you've just glanced up a few lines), then you've realized that this is not the game that I ordered. Naturally, I notified the people from whom I bought the game of the error and they told me that they would ship me the game that I had ordered and that I could keep the game that they had already sent me.
There you have it. | | |
